Our Infrastructure
To produce a high-end virtual event is highly non-trivial. We listened to our clients, took what we knew from our many years of live-event experience, and invested in robust, scalable systems—then made them virtual. We’ve made significant capital investments that allow us to provide a robust suite of capabilities and facility redundancies. The Studio has redundant gigabit network connections and the entire facility is backed up by multiple Tesla powerwalls, guaranteeing 100% uptime.
Remote presenters can be integrated via traditional video conference systems or via Teradek encoder/decoder systems at 3G quality. We have redundant video playback, graphics, record, and streaming systems. We enable virtual show callers with internet-based, low-latency, multi-view systems. We have a full matrix intercom and IFB, which can interface with mobile and desktop users, as well as other studio matrix intercom systems.
We have successfully used our communications systems with hundreds of users in more than one hundred countries.

How We Started
Langsam Studios began as an evolution, out of necessity and with the collaboration of a highly skilled team. David Langsam, senior engineer, realized immediately after the novelty of shelter-in-place wore off that businesses still needed to communicate at a high level and that he was well-positioned to make that happen.
Early in the design phase, while outlining the requirements for a virtual studio, David partnered with long-time associates Steve Ratcliff, an audio engineer and technical manager, and John Bashew, a producer and live streaming veteran, to create a solution that would integrate traditional “big show” technology into a virtual studio. While still deep in system design, the first client came calling—and within twenty-four hours, a prototype system was online. The system is now state-of-the-art and adapts dynamically to the unique needs of each show.
